Elegant coat dress with a short front and a festively gathered back.

Colette · Size M combines a black and white houndstooth pattern with a white collar, three bronze-colored buttons, and a flexibly placeable flower brooch. Suitable for small, compactly built dogs up to approx. 28 cm neck circumference and up to approx. 27 cm back length.

The specifications of approx. 28 cm neck circumference and approx. 27 cm back length describe the upper reference values. The dog does not have to meet these measurements exactly. The dress may also fit smaller measurements, provided it is not too loose and the individual build matches the shape of the garment.

The front ends just below the third button. The longer, gathered fabric section runs exclusively over the back.

Since no reliable chest circumference is available, please also consider chest width, shoulder area, position of the front legs, and the general body build.

Suitable dogs

Colette is particularly suitable for small, rather compactly built dogs with a neck circumference of up to approx. 28 cm and a back length of up to approx. 27 cm.

Possible breed examples:

Bichon Frise, Shih Tzu, Havanese, Maltese, Bolonka Zwetna, small Miniature Poodle, sturdy Toy Poodle, and similarly built crossbreeds.

For very slender dogs, the dress may fit too loosely despite suitable length measurements. For significantly longer dogs, the ruched back part may appear shorter than depicted.

For Italian Greyhounds, Dachshunds, and very slender or distinctly long-backed dogs, a particularly careful comparison of measurements is required.

Cats

Due to the cut and the position of the sleeve openings, Colette is not regularly classified as cat clothing.

Breed specifications are for orientation only. The actual body measurements and individual body build are decisive.
Material & Appearance

Colette features an elegant black and white houndstooth pattern with a visible textile structure and striking dark stripes. The soft white collar provides a clear contrast to the graphic pattern. Three round bronze-colored buttons adorn the short front. The longer back is significantly gathered, creating a festive, dress-like silhouette. The accompanying brooch, which can be placed flexibly, features a white floral shape, a black and white houndstooth bow, gold-colored connectors, small clear gemstones, and a freely hanging pearl pendant. Use only under supervision. Do not let your pet wear it while playing, roughhousing, sleeping, or unsupervised. Before each use, check that the neck opening, sleeve openings, and chest area provide sufficient freedom of movement.

The brooch contains small and movable parts. It must be securely fastened to the sturdy back of the garment and must not be licked or chewed by the animal. Remove the brooch before putting on and taking off the garment, and before cleaning.

If movement is restricted, or if there is friction, redness, discomfort, or visible irritation, remove the garment immediately. Do not continue to use if seams are damaged, buttons are loose, or components are detached.
